DIY Neon Necklaces

Pops of neon are everywhere this season, and I'm loving it. With a recent resolve to introduce more color and accessories into my wardrobe I thought this the perfect opportunity to give some of my long forgotten pieces new life.

After digging through my old dresser drawer these became my victims:

I didn't have the patience to venture to the hardware store for spray paint, so my neon nail polish found a new identity...

I am pretty happy with the final product, though I feel the neon yellow could use an additional coat, or perhaps I will finally make a stop to get some proper spray paint. I'm also on the mission for a more statement piece, something like this.

What's your take on the neon trend?

xoxo,
Chloé

I've totally fallen for the neon trend. I love this idea. What nail polish are you using? I haven't been able to find a genuine neon yet (in my price range...)

Hey Jess! I got the nail polish from Target - its the cheap brand called "sinful colors". It takes a few coats but stays long for me! Thanks for coming by!

Thank you for giving me some insiration on how to use my cheapy nail polish! I ve found a lot of the sinful colors to be too sheer on my nails.
